Mastering Engineer Larry Anthony Associate Engineer
If you are planning on having your mixes mastered we highly recommend that you call or email us with any concerns you might have about proven methods of how to get the most out of your mixes and your up coming mastering process. Many of our clients begin collaborating with us before they being their recording process. This approach has proven to be extraordinarily successful in producing the finest, best sounding music albums. It's always better to have several heads and many years of experience involved when making critical decisions about how to achieve the very best album project possible. Total mix compression, sample rates, bit resolution, signal strength/margins are some of the issues you should be completely clear on before you start mixing. There's been thousands of really great songs that have been deprived of their potential or just plain destroyed by the method they were recorded to the 2 track tape or disk. We hope that your songs will not fall victim to this horrible fate. There are a lot of myths out there that are partially or totally false so if you are planning on using COS Mastering please contact us for your free preliminary consultation but do it before you start your mixes or better yet before you even start recording. After you record them to tape or what ever media you plan to use it's usually very expensive to go back and re-mix them again or even worse, to settle for a "less than it could be" product that you've worked so very hard for. We believe that you and your music deserve the very best treatment and are committed to helping you obtain your goals and beyond. Respectfully,
